Lessons From My Father: The Community Principle (Re-published)
Thursday Jul 02, 2020
Thursday Jul 02, 2020
Community is one of the most important resources that we have at our disposal in our quest for spiritual evolution and realization. We are designed and created to be in community and to be connected with other people. And not just other people who reflect our experiences and worldview, but a diverse collection of inclusive community is the path to reaching our human and divine potential. In this episode, we are encouraged to emphasize and prioritize connecting with other people through intentional community building. Jesus, our greatest teacher, began his work by creating community as a first priority. This communicates to us that we are bound in community, and our health (spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical) and success are often tied to the degree of community that we are engaged in.
Lesson Points:
How Can We Create Community?
1. Join an organization
2. Ignite Past Relationship
3. Nurture Family Ties

Lessons From My Father: The Cure Principle
Sunday May 24, 2020
Sunday May 24, 2020
"The Cure Principle" from the series "Lesson From My Father" is an inspirational message about overcoming our own hurt, pain, grief, or unhappiness by focusing on curing someone else's pain and unhappiness. When we turn our attention away from what we need and use that same energy to meet the needs of someone else, we not only provide a cure for them but for ourselves as well. I believe that we were designed to be communal, and being communal means being the cure for each other. In a world that often advocates for individualism as a life worldview, this Lesson and the teaching of many of our great Spiritual teachers show us that becoming 'Others' centered is when we tap into our true potential. To focus on a cure for someone else is to find a cure for ourselves. 'Give and it shall be given unto You." "Cure someone else and you shall be cured." "Your Healing is found in the Healing of Others."

Lessons From My Father: The Context Principle

Friday May 22, 2020
Context is very important to understand the full meaning of, and/or have the appropriate perspective of most events. Having context is to have clarity and truth. For so many of us, like we miss the context of a statement or a sentiment expressed, we also miss the context of life. As a result, our understanding and clarity in life are greatly diminished. In Lessons From My Father: The Context Principle, Lyndon shares how he arrived at a greater clarity of life and purpose through grief, loss, and tragedy. God wants us to have an aerial view of life. God wants us to see the big picture of life, and the spirit is the lens through which we can. We can learn something valuable in each of our life events, and Spirit can increase our understanding, wisdom, and clarity in our darkest hours if we seek it. Religion & Ahmaud Arbery

Wednesday May 20, 2020
As a result of the recent tragic case and death of Ahmaud Arbery, Lyndon Batiste, Host of the Gift of Love Broadcast, shares his sentiments and feelings for navigating this tragic event and the impact of it on our social realities. Our belief at the Gift of Love Broadcast is that Love should motivate us to speak to issues that threaten our humanity and that diminishes the value that we all inherently possess. Love is a force of change that confronts social ills and that stands in resistance to the projectiles of evil. God (Love) cannot and does not tolerate or co-exist with social ills such as racism, sexism, classism, nepotism, and all that threatens our divinity and human potential.

Morning Inspiration: Embracing You
Thursday Apr 23, 2020
Thursday Apr 23, 2020
The quote from Oscar Wilde “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken" could not be more of a spiritual call to awaken the uniqueness and purpose that is within each of us. I believe that we are all wired and designed in a specific way in order to accomplish a very specific purpose. There is nothing more spiritual than to simply embrace the way that you are. Likewise, there is nothing more anathema to spirituality than to try to be someone else and fit into boxes where you do not belong. Embrace You today and experience the profound God-likeness that is within you.
